| is automatic search first in the book? | |||||||
Answer: | The automatic tuning and the manual tuning each have specific uses. The reason for each is clearly

Question: | Why does the screen turn blue?
Answer: | The television has been designed so that the screen turns blue when the signal strength is very weak or

| 1. | The television station may have stopped transmitting. | ||||||
| 2. | You may have selected a programme number which has not yet been tuned. | ||||||

Answer: | The television might be switched to Teletext mode. If it has been switched to text mode for closed
| captions and they are not being transmitted there may not be any indication on the screen to let you | |||||||
| know that you are in Text mode. See pages 22, 23 and 24. |
