CONTROL CONSOLE ASSEMBLY

This assembly houses all of the controls you need to drive your Hurricane PMV.

WARNING! Keep the console free from moisture. In the event that the console becomes exposed to moisture, do not attempt to operate the Hurricane PMV until it has been dried thoroughly.

Battery Condition Meter

Whenever you have the key fully inserted, this meter gives an approximate reading of your Hurricane PMV’s battery voltage. See figure 6.

Horn Button

The key must be fully inserted into the key switch for the horn to be operational. This button activates a warning horn. Do not hesitate to use the warning horn when its use could prevent accident or injury. See figure 6.

Throttle Control Lever

This lever allows you to control the forward speed and the reverse speed of your Hurricane PMV up to the maximum speed you preset with the speed adjustment dial. Place your right hand on the right handgrip and your left hand on the left handgrip. Use your right thumb to push the right side of the lever to disengage your Hurricane PMV’s brake and move forward. Release the lever and allow your Hurricane PMV to come to a complete stop before pushing the other side of the lever to move in reverse. When the throttle is completely released, it automatically returns to the center (stop) position and engages your Hurricane PMV’s brake. See figure 6.
