Note

Sound can be distorted if you raise the volume while subwoofer level is high. Reduce subwoofer level if this occurs.

You can also make fine adjustments to subwoofer level (“Speaker output and level”, page 17).

Selecting audio

“DUAL PRG” appears on the display when the unit is receiving a signal with dual audio channels.

You can switch between the main and secondary audio soundtracks of Dolby Digital or DTS sources.

Adjustment range:

DIMMER 1 (bright) to DIMMER 3 (dim) Factory setting: OFF

Dim the display for better viewing in a darkened room.

To return to the normal brightness, select “DIMMER OFF”. Press DIMMER

Sleep timer

The sleep timer turns the unit off after a set time.

It does not control any other components.

Muting

The display dims to the level you have selected.

Press again to cancel.

• “SLEEP” lights when the timer is set.

Select SLEEP” again in Step 2.

 

 

To change a setting:

Repeat the procedure from the beginning.

Press MUTING “MUTING IS ON” scrolls across the display while output is muted. Press again to cancel.

Muting also cancels when you adjust the volume or switch the unit to standby.
