CHOOSEALOCATIONFORTHETELEPHONE

The telephone should be away from all other electronic equipment such as a personal computer, microwave, stereo, or television. It is also a good idea to place the unit away from noisy areas, or from heat sources such as a radiator or direct sunlight.

PLUGINTHEADAPTER

Plug the AC adapter tip into the DC 9V jack on the telephone base and the other end into an electrical outlet. Be sure that the tip is securely plugged into the jack. Thread the cord through the clip on the housing to prevent the cord from pulling loose.

Caution: You must use a Class 2 power adapter that supplies 9 Volts DC and delivers at least 200mA. Its center tip must be set to positive. The supplied adapter meets these specifications. Using an adapter that does not meet these specifications could damage the phone or adapter.
