Your Sprint 1733 is capable of dis- playing the name and/or number of the party calling beforeyou answer the phone (Caller ID). It is also capable of displaying Caller ID informationin con- junction with a Call Waiting alert signal (CallWaiting ID). With CallWaiting ID, the Caller ID data will help you decide whether to switch to the incomingcall, or continuewith you current conversa- tion.

CALL WAITING ID

These are subscription services, provided by most regional telephone serviceproviders. You mustsubscribe to these services to get the benefits of these features. If you do not subscribe to Caller ID services, you can still use your Sprint 1733andtheotherfeatures it offers.

Due to regional incompatibilities, Caller ID information may not be avail- able for every call you receive. In addition, the calling party may block their name and phone number from being sent.
