Installation

PLACING THE BASE ON A DESK TOP

Follow these steps when you place the base on a desk, shelf, or table.

Antenna

POWER Jack

LINE Jack

Strain Relief Slots (bottom of base)

1Plug one end of the supplied long modular cord into the LINE jack on the back of the base.

2Route the modular cord through one of the strain relief slots on the bottom of the base.

3Insert the supplied AC adapter’s barrel plug into the POWER jack on the back of the base.

4Route the adapter’s cord through the other strain relief slot on the bottom of the base.

5Plug the modular cord’s other end into a modular phone line jack.

6Plug the adapter into a standard AC outlet.

7Raise the base’s antenna to a vertical position.
