4 Getting Started

In a home with broadband, every telephone must have a micro-filter connected, not just the one at the telephone point that your modem is connected to. If you need more broadband micro-filters, contact your broadband supplier.

Charging the batteries

Before the handset is used for the first time, place it into the charging station for at least 14hours. The charging status is indicated in the handset display.

Packing contents

The following items should be contained in the pack:

1 base unit (with corded handset)

1 cordless handset

1 charging cradle with power supply

1 power supply

1 line cord

2 rechargeable batteries (Ni-MH 1.2V 400mAh)

1 user guide

1 color brochure

Note:

If any of these are missing, please contact your supplier with purchase receipt.

Battery installation

1)Remove the battery compartment cover and insert the AAA rechargeable batteries into the handset in accordance with the polarity that is marked inside the battery compartment.

2)Replace the battery compartment cover, sliding it into place, pressing firmly to make sure it is closed.
