AREA CODE

If you enter a 3-digit area code in the area code menu, your local area code will not appear in Caller ID messages you receive. Instead, you will see only the local seven digit number. Calls you receive from outside your local area code will show the full ten-digit number.

This setting may be made with the handset or the base.

1.Make sure your handset or base is at the main menu. If your handset or base is not in the menu mode, press the MENU soft key.

2.Press the cid/vol (up or down arrow) button on the handset or the CID (up and down arrow) button on the base to scroll to AREA CODE.
