ADJUSTING THE HANDSET

RINGER AND EARPIECE

VOLUME

Handset Ringer Tone and Volume

Press the volume up key or volume down key (labeled as, VOL/RING or VOL/ RING keys) in standby mode to select one of five ringer tones and volume combinations.

Ring Type A High, Ring Type A Low, Ring Type B High, Ring Type B Low, or Ringer Off.

Earpiece Volume

Press the volume up key or volume down key (labeled as, VOL/RING or VOL/ RING keys) during a call to change the earpiece volume of the handset. This setting will remain in effect after the telephone call has ended. Ô

Temporarily Mute Ringer

If the handset is off the base, simply press END to temporarily mute the incoming ring. The ringer will sound with the next incoming call.

REDIAL

REDIAL/PAUSE redials the last number dialed. The redialed number can be up to 32 digits long.

Ô NOTE Ô

When you press volume up key ( VOL/RING) in Maximum mode or volume down key ( VOL/RING ) in Low mode, an error tone sounds.
