LANGUAGE

This setting may be made with the handset and the base.

1.Press the program/mute button and SET LANGUAGE 1ENG 2 FRA 3ESP shows in the display.

2.Use the touch-tone pad on your handset or base to select 1ENG, 2FRA,

or 3ESP, or use the or buttons on the handset or the base to select 1ENG, 2 FRA, or 3ESP. English is the default setting.

3.Press the program/mute to save. You will hear a confirmation tone, and the selected language displays for two seconds.

ENGLISH

If you are programming the base:

a. SET CONTRAST 1 2 3 shows in the display.

SET CONTRAST	HANDSET NAME
1 2 3	HANDSET NAME
BASE DISPLAY	HANDSET DISPLAY

b. Go to step one in the Display Contrast section.

If you are programming the handset:

a.HANDSET NAME shows in the display.

b.Go to step one under the Handset Name section.

NOTE: Press the EXIT button once to keep the previous setting and return to standby mode.
