Emergency calls

The emergency services can be contacted in the UK by dialling 999. You may also dial 112, which is valid in any country that is a member of the European Community.

As the Freestyle 90 is a mains-powered cordless telephone, you may not be able to make an emergency call in certain situations:

If there is severe radio interference.

If the handset battery fails.

If there is a power cut and there is no back-up battery in the base unit.

If your Freestyle 90 is connected to a PBX (switchboard), you may have to dial an access number before 999 to contact the emergency services.

Some switchboards cannot dial out during a power failure.
