NOTE: When you plug the headset into the HEADSET JACK, it automatically mutes the microphone and speaker of the cordless handset. Unplug the headset to return the handset to normal use.

Phone Book Operation

Storing Name And Numbers To Phone Book

You can store up to 60 names and numbers in the memory.

Dialing a number from phone book

1.In standby mode, press the “MEMO” button, and then the LCD shows the total number of records.

2. Press the or arrow button to go to the record you want to dial. Please see REVIEWING NAMES & NUMBERS IN THE PHONE BOOK (on page #20) for other modes of selection.

3.When the screen displays the number you want to dial, press the # symbol. The phone automatically dials the number.

VIP and REJECT Functions

If you store a name ending with “*” key, it will be a VIP (Very Important Person) number. If you store a name ending with key, it will be a REJECT number.

When a VIP number is received, the handset ringer will operate (ring) whether or not it is turned ON or OFF.

When a REJECT number is received, the handset ringer will not operate (ring) whether or not the feature is turned ON or OFF.

Adding numbers and names to phone book

1.Begin with the phone in the standby mode, add the new number you want to store using the keypad. Enter the phone number up to 23 digits.

2.Press the “MEMO” button and then the LCD will show NAME.

3.Enter the name up to 11 characters using the “2 to 9” on keypad.

Press the 2 key once for A, twice for B and 3X for C.

Press the number “1” key to insert a space between name.

Press the “F” button to erase any mistake.

4. Press the “MEMO” button to confirm and a confirmation beep will sound.
