Overview of the base

1FIND

a)Press to find/page all registered handsets or the wireless headset. Press the button again, or any key on the handset, to turn off page signal.

2ANSWER ON/OFF

a) Press to turn on/off the answering machine.

3ANNOUNCE MODE

a) Press to toggle the announce mode between ANNC &

RECORD and ANNOUNCE ONLY mode.

4VOLUME-

a)In idle mode, during message playback or during call screening: Decrease the loudspeaker volume by one level (0 to 8).

5VOLUME+

a)In idle mode, during message playback or during call screening: Increase the loudspeaker volume by one level (0 to 8).

6Charging LED - Green

a)Steadily ON: When the handset is put into base cradle for charging.

7In Use LED - Red

a)Steadily ON: During a call or when an extension phone (another registered handset or wireless headset) is engaged.

b)Flashing at a rate similar to the incoming ring pattern: During an incoming call.

c)Flashing briefly on and off for 1 minute: During paging or registration.
