NetLink s340 Docking Station

The NetLink s340 Docking Station emulates the NetLink

e340/h340 Wireless Telephone that is placed in the docking cradle.

When a NetLink e340/h340 Wireless Telephone is placed in the

docking cradle, the Use Deskset display will show on the handset

and all functionality is transferred to the Docking Station.

NetLink s640 Docking Station

NetLink s640 Docking Station emulates the NetLink i640 Wireless

Telephone that is placed in the docking cradle. When a NetLink

i640 Wireless Telephone is placed in the docking cradle, the Use

Deskset display will show on the handset and all functionality is

transferred to the Docking Station. It performs all the functions

described in this section and also supports the push-to-talk feature

described below.

Docking Stations are not interchangeable. The NetLink e340/h340

will not fit into the docking cradle of the NetLink s640 Docking

Station for the NetLink i640 Wireless Telephone and vice versa.

However, handsets are interchangeable. Any NetLink e340/h340

will work in any NetLink s340 Docking Station and any NetLink

i640 Wireless Telephone will work in any NetLink s640 Docking

Station.

Docking cradle

The docking cradle acts as a charger for the handset, whether it is

powered on or off. While the handset is in the docking cradle, it is

being charged.

Using the handset

The handset is available for use and may be activated simply by

picking it up, at which time all functionality returns to the handset

and the Docking Station is inactivated. The handset cannot be

powered on or off while it is in the docking cradle.
