Security

To access the security menu:

1.Activate the main menu, highlight the Settings menu, and press .

2.Select More....

3.Select Security.

4.Enter your lock code. (The security menu is displayed.)

Tip: If you can’t recall your lock code, try using the last four digits of either your Social Insurance Number or Mobile Directory Number or try 0000. If none of these work, call Customer Service at 1-800-Samsung.

Changing the Lock Code

1.Activate the main menu, highlight the Settings menu, and press .

2.Select More....

3.Select Security.

4.Enter your lock code. (The security menu is displayed.)

5.Select Change Lock Code.

6.Enter your new lock code and press . Your new lock code must have 4 digits.

7.Re-enter your new lock code and press . Please select a code that can be recalled easily, or have it recorded and stored in a safe location.

Special #s

You can make and receive calls from up to three special numbers even when your phone is locked.

1.Activate the main menu, highlight the Settings menu, and press .

2.Select More....

3.Select Security.

4.Enter your lock code. (The security menu is displayed.)

5.Select Special #.

6.Select entry one, two, or three and press .

7.Enter the number using the keypad.
