Note: You may pay a higher per-minute rate for roaming calls.

Roaming on Other Digital Networks

When you’re roaming, you may not be able to access certain features, such as web services.

Note: If you’re on a call when you leave the network and enter an area where roaming is available, your call is dropped. If your call is dropped in an area where you think service is available, turn your phone Off and On again to reconnect to the network.

Setting Your Roaming Mode

By using the Roaming menu option, you can determine which signals your phone accepts. Choose from three different settings on your phone to control your roaming experience:

1.Activate the main menu, highlight the Settings menu, and press .

2.Select More....

3.Select Roaming.

4.Select Set Mode.

5.To select an option, highlight it and press .

Automatic: This setting seeks service. When service is unavailable, the phone searches for an alternate system.

1X-Only Mode: This setting allows you to access 1X networks. No EVDO service is available.

Home Only Mode: This setting allows you to access the home network only and prevents roaming on other networks.
