Web

When you launch the browser, the phone will connect to the Internet and the service indicator icon will display.

Launching the Web Browser

Activate the main menu, highlight the Web menu, and press .

The first time you use the Web Browser, you will be prompted to go through a setup process that takes approximately three minutes. If you had a previous web connection, the last page you visited will be displayed.

Navigating the Wireless Web

Use the following keys to navigate the Web:

Left Softkey

Select an item

Navigation key Scroll up and down on a web page

Volume keys

Scroll one page at a time

Use the following tips when navigating the Web:

Select on-screen items by using the navigation key to highlight the desired item, then press the desired softkey button (or press ).

You'll find that the left softkey is used primarily for selecting items. This softkey is often labeled OK or GO.

If the items on a page are numbered, you can use your keypad (number keys) to select an item.

Select links by highlighting the link and then selecting the appropriate softkey.

Tip: The tenth item in a numbered list may be selected by pressing the 0 key on your phone’s keypad, even though the number 0 doesn’t appear on the screen.

To go back one page, press on your phone. (Note that is also used like a BACKSPACE key to delete text.)
