De-register Handset

This feature allows you to de-register a handset locked to a particular base station. If you have received a replacement handset, then the handset which you are replacing must be deregistered before registering the new handset to the base. To de-register the handset:

•Press Softkey Menu from Home screen

•Choose the Settings icon from Menu screen and press center Navigation key/SEL/ to display the settings menu options.

•Press the up or down Navigation Key or to choose the Registration Settings menu option and press the Select key to select.

•Press the up or down Navigation Key or to choose the Base Settings and press the softkey Select to select.

•Press the up or down Navigation Key or to choose De-register Handset and press the softkey Select to select.

•Enter the PIN for verification and press softkey Apply to display a list of handsets subscribed to the base station.

•Press the up or down Navigation key or to choose a handset from the list and press the softkey Select to de-register the handset from the base station.
