Searching a Contact in the Address Book

This feature allows you to search an existing contact from the Address Book.

To Search contact:

While in Home screen, choose the icon Address Book using left or right Navigation Key or and press the center Navigation key/SEL/ to select, a contact list will be displayed.

Press the key corresponding to the first letter of the contact’s name. E.g.: To find a contact starting with ‘M’ press 5 and scroll to the contact using Navigation keys.

You can also search a contact in the Address book through Search option

While in Home screen, choose the icon Address Book using left or right Navigation Key or and press the center Navigation key/SEL/ to select, a contact list will be displayed.

Press softkey Options.

Use up or down Navigation key or to select Search and then Press center Navigation key/SEL/.

In the text box enter the full or a part of the name of the contact to be searched and press Ok. The names with full or part of the name as the name entered in the search text box will be displayed.

When you are not logged into your profile and if you search for a contact, then it will display only the contacts from the Shared/Local Address book

When you are logged into your profile and if you search for a contact, then it will display only the contacts from the Personal/Network Address book
