when you long press the number key in Conventional mode (and vice versa).

Removing the Association between Entry and Programmable Number Key

Procedure:

Long press the programmed number key to the required alias or ID, press c to select, and proceed to Step 4.

OR

Follow the procedure below.

1cto access the menu.

2^ or vto Contacts and press cto select. The entries are alphabetically sorted.

3^ or vto the required alias or ID and press cto select.

4^ or vto Program Key and press cto select.

5^ or vto Empty and press cto select.

6The first line of the display shows Clear from all keys?.

7^ or vto Yes and press c to select.

8The radio sounds a positive indicator tone and the display shows mini notice.

9The screen automatically returns to the previous menu.

NOTE: When an entry is deleted, the association between the entry and its programmed number key(s) is removed.

Adding a New Contact

Procedure:

1c to access the menu.

2^ or vto Contacts and press c to select.

3^ or vto access New Contact. Add /Edit the name field provided.

4Press cto access radio number field. Add/Edit the radio number field provided.

5Select from the list of ring tones. Press c or v to select from Tone List.

6c to select Save Contact and press cto save.
