Extension numbers

The PDA Contacts application dials extension numbers only if they do not satisfy Microsoft criteria for numbers that require an area code.

The following three methods can be used to manage dialing extension numbers:

1.Select Extension in the Phone details dialog box. See Figure 24 on page 52.

2.Enter extension numbers in your PC Outlook Contacts application, and ActiveSync your PC Outlook with your PDA Contacts.

3.Select Keys > Macros, and enter the direct dial extension number in a macro. See “Macros” on page 62 for information about macros.
