PAUSE MESSAGE PLAYBACK

You can temporarily pause message playback up to 5 minutes. The TC-540 will not answer calls in the pause mode.

Press the button of the activated MAILBOX. A "P" will appear in the

You have 3 options during pause:

2Press the button of the activated MAILBOX again to resume listening to messages.

OR

2Leave the TC-540 in pause mode. It will automatically reset to answer calls after 5 minutes. All messages will be saved.

OR

2Press ON/OFF twice to end pause. All messages will be saved.

AUTOMATIC SAVE

If you do not press SAVE or ERASE while listening to messages or after playing them, the TC-540 will automatically save all messages. You will hear “End of Messages” and the display will show the total message count for all mailboxes.
