Registering a handset to the base unit

1Handset:

2MbN: Handset Setupa MN

3 MbN: Register H.seta MN

4Base unit:

Press and hold MN for about 5 seconds. (No registration tone)

R If all registered handsets start ringing, press MN again to stop, then repeat this step. (KX-TG2712)

R The next step must be completed within 90 seconds.

5Handset:

Wait until Enter Base PINis displayed. a Enter the base unit PIN (default: 0000).

R If you forget your PIN, contact an authorised service centre.

R When the handset has been registered successfully, stops flashing.

Deregistering a handset

R All handsets registered to the base unit are displayed.

4Enter the desired handset number you want to cancel. a MN

R A confirmation tone sounds.

R The handset does not beep when cancelling its own registration.

Changing the base unit PIN (Personal Identification Number)

Important:

RIf you change the PIN, please make note of your new PIN. The unit will not reveal the PIN to you. If you forget your PIN, contact an authorised service centre.
