Making calls
1Predial the phone number > [

• If you make a mistake while predialling a phone number, press [C] to clear it. Press and hold [C] to clear all inputs.
2When finished talking, press [
] or place the handset on the base unit or charger.
Adjusting the receiver volume
Press [
] or [
] while on a call. 5 levels are available.
Answering calls
1Press [
] to answer the call.
2When finished talking, press [
] or
place the handset on the base unit or charger.
Note:
•With Auto Talk function switched on, you can talk directly when the handset is picked up from the base unit or charger during incoming call (page 10).
Handset locator
1Press [ ![]()
] on the base unit.
•While paging the handset, the time and handset number displays will temporarily disappear from the handset screen.
2To stop paging, press [ ![]()
] on the
base unit again or press [
] on each handset.
•The handset beeps for 1 minute.
Pause button (for PBX/long distance service users)
A pause is sometimes required when making calls using a PBX or long distance service. Press and hold [0] for about 2 seconds to create one pause.
