Making / Answering Calls

Redialling

The last 4 numbers dialled (each 20 digits max.) are stored in the redial list.

1[ / ] > Press [ ] or [ ] to select a desired number.

2Press [ ] to start redialling.

Note:

If the number is more than 12-digit long, only the last 11 digits will be displayed preceded by a “_”.

Deleting a number in the redial list

1[ / ] > Press [ ] or [ ] to check the numbers.

2[C] to delete the selected number.

Deleting the whole redial list

1[ /OK] > [0] > [ / ]

2[ /OK] to confirm deletion.

Key lock

The handset can be locked to prevent accidental key activation. Incoming calls can be answered, but all other functions (except making emergency calls) are disabled while key lock is on.

To turn key lock on, press [ ] for about 2 seconds.

To turn key lock off, press [ ] for

about 2 seconds again.

Note:

shows on the display while key lock is on.

Emergency numbers are prestored as “111”, “911” and “999”. The users cannot program them.

Silent mode

To switch off ringer, press and hold [] until “ ” shows on the display.

When an incoming call is received,

only “ ” flashes on the display to indicate an incoming call.

To switch on ringer, press and hold [] until “ ” disappears from the display.

Note:

Even if the silent mode is set, the handset will ring for paging at the maximum volume.

Muting

1During a call, press [] to mute

handset.

The other party cannot hear you.

When muting is on, “” shows on the display.

2Press [] to cancel muting.

R button (to use the recall feature)

[R] is used to access optional telephone services. Contact your service provider/ telephone company for details.

Note:

You can change the recall time (page 11).

Call waiting

Call waiting is a service offered by your service provider/telephone company whereby a second caller can be answered while online with the first caller. To answer the second caller, press [R]. To return to the first caller, press [R] again. Please consult your service provider/ telephone company for details of this service.
