OPERATION
Drop-out Delay
While scanning, the uh044sx stops at a busy channel and receives a signal. When the received signal is over, the unit will wait for 3 seconds for the return of the signal, otherwise, the radio resumes scanning.
DUAL WATCH
When Dual Watch function is active, PRI CH is watched every 1.5 seconds.
Press and hold to activate or deactivate Dual Watch.
DUAL
DUAL appears on the display when activated.
MONITOR
This feature enables users to listen in for weak signals on the current channel at the press of a button.
To use monitor,
!For brief listening, press

!For continuous listening.
Press and hold 
for 1.5 sec. A two tone beep will be heard and the receiver circuit will stay open, letting in both the noise & weak signals.
!Display shows BUSY icons.
!To return to normal receive mode press
