Intercom/Call Transfer Feature

Intercom and Call Transfer features are available for your phone.

If the party is busy or out of range, you will hear a beep and the handset returns to the standby mode.

• If any of the following occurs, the operation will be canceled.

-Press talk/flash or speaker on the handset, and (talk) on the base.

-Receive an outside/intercom call (while selecting the other handset).

When the party does not answer within 1 minute, Intercom or Call Transfer is canceled.

Intercom

From handset to handset or to the base

1)Press intercom/hold in the standby mode.

2)Select the base or the handset you want to talk with from the selection list within 30 seconds. To select the handset (or the base), press volume/ or , then press the OK soft key.

If you select “All”, all handsets and the base will be paged. An intercom tone sounds.

3)On the receiving handset (or the base), to answer the call, press talk/flash,

intercom/hold, or the ANSWER soft key (or intercom or (talk) on the base).

Or press any number key, /tone/t, or #/s (when Any Key Answer is On), or pick up the handset from the cradle (when AutoTalk is On).

4)To hang up the intercom call, press the end key or the END soft key on either handset (or intercom on the base).

From the base to a handset

1)Press intercom on the base in the standby mode.

2)All the handsets will be paged.

3)On the receiving handset, to answer the call, press talk/flash, intercom/hold, or the ANSWER soft key. Or press any number key, /tone/t, or #/s (when Any Key Answer is On), or pick up the handset from the cradle (when AutoTalk is On).

4)To hang up the intercom call, press the end key or the END soft key on the handset

or intercom on the base.
