Soft Key Function
"Soft" keys are keys that change function during the operation of the phone. There are two soft keys on the handset and base.
The text right above the soft key indicates that key's current function. For example, when the phone is in standby mode, pressing soft key 1 activates the LAND line. When the phone is in talk mode, pressing soft key 1 brings up the options menu. Complete information on the features controlled by the soft keys can be found under each feature.
