Connect the base unit

If you want to install the base unit on the wall, see page 9.

1Connect the telephone line cord to the TEL LINE jack and to a telephone outlet.

Depending on your dialing system, set the PULSE-TONEswitch as follows:

Make a trial call with the PULSE-TONEswitch set to TONE.

If the call connects, leave the switch as is; otherwise, set to PULSE.
