Radiotext

Some RDS stations provide Radiotext as additional information. Radiotext appe- ars as ticker text in the display. As this information is transmitted character by character, it may take some time before the text is received in full.

1Call up the radiotext by pushing »TEXT« on the remote control.

– The information appears after a short time.

2For a fast run-through of the radiotext, press and hold down »TEXT«.

Note:

If reception is poor there may be gaps in the Radiotext message.

If the station does not currently provide radiotext, »NO TEXT« appears in the display.

3Press »TEXT« to quit the radiotext level.

Programme types (PTY)

1To call up the current programme type, press »PTY« on the remote control.

Display: the current programme type, e.g. »NEWS«, and »PTY«.

If no programme type code is transmitted, »NO PTY« appears in the display.

2Press »PTY« repeatedly on the remote control for a selection of other programme types.

3Press »TUNING UP/DOWN« on the device to start the PTY search.

Display: »FM«, the frequency for rapid run-through, »PTY« flashes.

4Press »TUNING UP/DOWN« on the device briefly to interrupt the programme search.
