9If you select tuner as the input source, set the desired channel position with » 5a §« or » ss s6 «.

10Press »TIMER«.

11Set the desired volume using »+ VOLUME «.

12Quit the settings with »TIMER«.

Deactivating the switch-on timer

1To deactivate the switch-on timer, press »TIMER« briefly in stand-by mode.

Display: »w« disappears.

The switch-on timer for the next day is deactivated.

or

Switch off the device when it is ready to switch on with »ON/OFF«.

– The switch-on timer remains activated for the next day.

Sleep timer

Setting the sleep timer

1Switch on the device using »ON/OFF« and select the input source you require.

2Press »SLEEP« to select the function.

Display: » 90 MIN« and »￿«.

3Enter the required time (in 90 minute intervals from 10 to 10 minutes) by pressing »SLEEP«.

Display: e.g. » 30 MIN« and »￿«.

The stereo system switches off at the selected time.

Deactivating the sleep timer

1To switch off the sleep timer, switch off the device using »ON/OFF«. Alter- natively, keep pressing »SLEEP« until »00 MIN« and »￿« disappear from the display (in which case the device remains switched on).
