Some RDS stations broadcast additional traffic news. If a such a station is being received, the »q« symbol appears in the display.

The EON (Enhanced Other Network) function is an additional RDS service with the help of which a station with traffic news is switched to automatically.

1When receiving an RDS station, press »TRAFFIC« on the remote control.

Display: »q«. If there are no traffic bulletins being broadcast, »NO TA« appears in the display.

»q« flashes during traffic news and the volume is slightly increased.

If the station includes EON, »EON« appears additionally in the display.

If the current station does not offer traffic news, EON switches automati- cally to the traffic news of another station. After the bulletin has finished, it switches back to the current station.

2To quit this function, press »EON« on the remote control.

Display: »q« and »EON« disappear.
