Your stereo system has two timer modes:

The switch-on timer, which switches the stereo system on and off at a pre-set time.

The sleep timer, which switches off the stereo system at a pre-set time.

Note:

The clock on the device must have been set. If, when setting the time, no but- ton is pushed for a period of longer than 10 seconds, the system will end the process automatically. You then have to start again at the beginning. During setting, the display can be illuminated for approximately 8 seconds by pres- sing any of the buttons.

1With the device switched off, press and hold down »TIMER«.

Display: »w« and »ON«, the hour display flashes.

2Set the hours for switching on using » TUNING UP/DOWN« on the device.

3Press »TIMER«.

Display: »w« and »ON«, the minute display flashes.

4Set the minutes for switching on using » TUNING UP/DOWN« on the device.

5Press »TIMER«.

Display: »w« and »OFF«, the hour display flashes.

6To enter the switch-off time, repeat steps 2 to 4.

7Press »TIMER«.

Display: »w« »TUNER« or »CD«.

8Select the CD or tuner input source using » TUNING UP/DOWN« on the device.

Note:

If you select CD, make sure that a CD has been inserted.
