To mark your current position as a temporary waypoint, hold down MOB and release the key before the 3 second countdown ends.

You will see the following sequence of LCDs:

The new temporary waypoint is shown in your waypoints list. Hold down MENU, press ENT, then press ENT again to display the waypoints list (TEMP1, WP001, WP002).

You cannot store more than three temporary waypoints. If you store another temporary waypoint, TEMP1 is overwritten with the new information.

2-15 EXIT

Quit a menu

Press to quit the current MENU option without making any changes and to return to the previous menu.

Cancel a distress call

Hold down EXIT or press CH16 to cancel a Distress call or a Distress call relay.

2-16 3CH

Three favorite channels

This works only when you have saved one or more favorite channels.

Press 3CH to go to CH1 (favorite channel 1).

Press to toggle between your favorite channels. The CH1, CH2, or CH3 symbol appears on the LCD to show which favorite channel is selected.

To add a favorite channel for the first time, select that channel then hold 3CH to store it in the CH1 location. The CH1 symbol will appear on the LCD to confrm the channel has been stored.

Repeat the procedure to store two more favorite channels in the CH2 and CH3 locations respectively.
