Track Erase

You can erase a selected track.

1 • If "Track Erase" is selected (P.58), the following screen appears.

Track to be erased

If the edit menu is selected during playhack, the unit

automatically selects the item to be edited. In this case, skip to

step b since you do nol need to selecl an item.

2. Rotate the MULTI JOG knob (press +/- on the remote

control) to select the disc that contains the track to be erased.

3, Press the MULTI JOG knob (ENTER on the remote control) to confirm the disc.

The number el the track to he erased flashes.

Press CLEAR to cancel the confirmed selection.

4.Rotate the MULTI JOG knob (press +/- on the remote control) to select the track to be erased.

5, Press the MULTI JOG knob (ENTER on the remote control) to confirm the track.

Press (-'LEAR to callcel the confirmed selection.

To check the track to be erased, press t>/nn. This unit starts to play the track to be erased repeatedly.

6, Press COMPLETE.

The selected track is erased.

This unit returns to the editing menu item selection. (If the edit mmm is carried on during playback, playback restarts.)

The immber of the track that has been erased will be available for

l/llllre /lse.

Part Erase

You can erase part of a selected track.

1 • If "Part Erase" is selected (P.58), the following screen appears.

Track to be partially erased

If tile edit menu is selected during playback, the unit automatically selecls the item to be edited. In this case, skip to step 6 since you do not need to select an item.

2.Rotate the MULTI dOG knob (press +/- on the remote control) to select the disc that contains the track to be partially erased.

3, Press the MULTI JOG knob (ENTER on the remote control) to confirm the disc.

Press CLEAR to cancel the confirmed seleclion.

5.Press the MULTI JOG knob (ENTER on the remote control) to confirm the track.

the unit to be set by pressing <</<< or _>>/_>_ (<< or _ on the remote control).

If you stop rotating the MULTI JOG knob. this unit searches

for the beginning point according to the setting made, and starts repeated playback of the passage between the point that is 5 seconds belk_re the beginning point and the bcgilming point.
