Track Combine

YOU can comhine a series of trocks into one.

1 If "Track Combine" is selected (P.58), the following screen appears.

If the edit menu is selected during playback, the unit autemalically selects the ilem to be ediled. In Ihis case, skip Io step 6 since you do not need to selecl an item.

2.Rotate the MULTI JOG knob (press +/- on the remote

control) to select the disc that contains the first track for the combination.

3.Press the MULTI JOG knob (ENTER on the remote control) to confirm the disc.

Press CLEAR to cancel the confirmed selection.

4.Rotate the MULTI dOG knob (press +/- on the remote control) to select the first track for the combination.

Tile display scrolls Io the lelt to indicate the disc numher thai contains the first track to be combined, the track number Io be tile first in tile combination, and tile track number Io be the last in the combination.

6.Rotate the MULTI dOG knob (press +/- on the remote

control) to select the second track for the combination.

7, Press the MULTI JOG knob (ENTER on the remote control) to confirm the track.

Press CLEAR Io cancel the confirmed selection.

8.Press COMPLETE.

Tile two selected tracks and all those hetween are comhined

into one track.

This unil returns Io tile editing menu item seleclion.

When combining a series of tracks, the selected track numbers following the selected first track will be available lor furore use.

The track title for the first track is effective lor the combined track.

If there is any track that cannot be copied digitally among the tracks to be combined, the combined track cannot be copied digitally either.

When tracks with different emphasis status have been combined, the emphasis status of the first track becomes efli_ctive lor the combined track.

Track Divide

You can divide a track into two at tile selected point.

1 • If "Track Divide" is selected (P.58), the following screen appears.
