Charging the iPod Battery

The iPod battery is 80-percent charged in about an hour, and fully charged in about four hours. If you charge iPod while transferring files or playing music, it may take longer.

iPod has an internal, nonremovable battery. If iPod isn’t used for a while, the battery may need to be charged.
