Charging the iPod® Battery

IMPORTANT!

The battery charging circuit in this system only functions when this system is being operated on AC power with the included AC adapter. This system will not charge the iPod® batteries when you operating this system on battery power.

When your iPod® is connected to the ‘docking’station of this system, and the iPod® is not playing, the iPod® battery will be recharged automatically. The battery will be charged whether the power of this system is ‘On’or ‘Off’. It will also be charged while you are listening to an external auxiliary music source.

NOTE: To prevent interference between the battery charging circuit and the radio in this system the battery charging circuit is turned off while you are listening to the radio. When you shut the radio off, battery charging resumes automatically.
