TROUBLESHOOTING

Should this unit exhibit a problem, check the following before seeking service.

Symptom	Possible Cause	Solution
General
No operation	Subject to a severe power surge	Reset the unit by pressing
		the RESET button.

Radio

Noise or sound	Station is not tuned properly for AM
distortion on AM or	or FM.
FM broadcasts.	FM: Wire antenna is not extended.
	AM: The bar antenna is not
	positioned correctly.
AM or FM	AM or FM mode is not selected.

	Volume at minimum level.

Retune the AM or FM broadcast station. Extend FM wire antenna. Reposition the unit until best reception is obtained Press Function button to select AM or FM band. Increase Volume level.

iPod®

iPod® does not	iPod mode is not selected.
