In general, you will have the best performance by keeping your discs and the mechanism clean.
•Store discs in their cases, and keep them in cabinets or on shelves.
•Keep the unit’s disc tray closed when not in use.

Handling discs
•Remove the disc from its case by
holding it at the edge while pressing the center hole lightly.
• Do not touch the shiny surface of the disc, or bend the disc.
•Put the disc back in its case after use to
prevent warping.
Playing Back the Entire Disc—Normal Play

The unit automatically turns on and the disc tray comes out.
2 Place a disc correctly on the circle of the disc tray, with its label side up.

•When using a CD single (8 cm), place it on the inner circle of the disc tray.

The disc tray automatically closes and the first track of the disc starts playing.

To stop playing, press 7.

To remove the disc, press CD 0.
• Be careful not to scratch the surface of the disc when placing it back in its case.
•Avoid exposure to direct sunlight, temperature extremes, and moisture.
To clean the disc
Wipe the disc with a soft cloth in a straight line from center to edge.
DO NOT use any
•If the disc cannot be read correctly (because it is scratched, for example) or an unreadable
•If no disc is inserted
“NO DISC” appears on the display.
•If the loaded disc has more than 21 tracks and you select 21st track or above
“–
DO NOT try to open or close the disc tray by hand as it will be damaged.
