MP3 MODE
Note:
●Any directories not containing MP3 files will be skipped automatically. If, for instance, you are listening to tracks in directory D01 and you se-
lect the next directory by pressing the or button :, directory D02 (which does not contain any MP3 tracks) will be skipped and D03 will be played. The display will then automatically switch from “D02” to “D03”.
Selecting tracks
To move up or down to another track in the current directory,
➮press the or button : once or several times.
If you press the button : once, the current track will be played again from the beginning.
Fast searching (audible)
To fast search backwards or forwards,
➮keep one of the or button : pressed until fast searching back- wards / forwards begins.
Random track play (MIX)
To play the tracks in the current directo- ry in random order,
➮briefly press button 5 MIX >.
“MIX DIR” appears in the display and the MIX symbol lights up.
To play all the tracks on the inserted
➮briefly press button 5 MIX > again.
“MIX CD” appears in the display and the MIX symbol lights up. All the tracks in the current directory are played random- ly. After that, all the tracks in the next directory are played randomly.
Cancelling MIX
To cancel MIX,
➮keep pressing button 5 MIX > un- til “MIX OFF” appears in the display and the MIX symbol disappears.
Scanning tracks (SCAN)
You can briefly play all the tracks on the CD.
➮Press the OK button ; for longer than two seconds. The next track will then be played briefly.
“SCAN” appears in the display. The tracks on the CD are briefly played in ascending order.
Note:
●You can set the scanning time (scantime). For further details on setting the scantime, please read the section entitled “Setting the scantime” in the “Radio mode” chapter.
Stopping SCAN and continuing playback
➮Briefly press the OK button ;.
The currently scanned track will then continue to be played normally.
