MOUNTING THE SAW

DO NOT use the Miter Saw until it is securely mounted. An unmounted saw may shift or move unexpectedly during use, causing personal injury and/or property damage.

15

The Miter Saw must be firmly mounted to a workbench or other sturdy work sur- face before use. Once the mounting location is selected, attach the saw to the bench with wood screws.

If a more portable mounting site is desired, the saw may be attached to a 3/4" piece of plywood. Make sure all four mounting feet are securely anchored to the plywood. Before using saw, clamp the plywood to sawhorses or other stationary mounting surfaces. Make sure the location is firm and level and allows enough room to safely maneuver the workpiece.

MOUNTING THE SAW

Table extensions must be installed before mounting saw.
