pTurn on the television and select the appropriate video input to suit the connections to this unit.

pPress [THEATER] to switch the remote control to operate this unit. pPress [DRIVE SELECT] to select the DVD drive.

pCheck that the time on the unit is correct. pInsert a disc. (page 12)

When the disc is removed, scheduled recording standby is cancelled (the “&” indicator goes out). You can put the unit back on standby by inserting a recordable disc (the “&” lights on again).
