Sound effect

Refer to control reference on page 34.

The factory settings for the “H. Bass” (➡ below) and Subwoofer levels (➡ page 36) are optimized for 5.1 channel movie playback. If the bass seems too heavy during 2-channel disc playback, etc. change the settings.

Changing the sound quality

Using the built-in sound quality settings, you can create a 5.1 channel effect while using 2-channel audio.

This does not work with multi-channel audio.

Press [SFC/EQ] several times to select the desired setting.
