Sound effect

Refer to control reference on page 34.

The factory settings for the “H. Bass” (below) and Subwoofer levels (page 36) are optimized for 5.1 channel movie playback. If the bass seems too heavy during 2-channel disc playback, etc. change the settings.

Changing the sound quality

Using the built-in sound quality settings, you can create a 5.1 channel effect while using 2-channel audio.

This does not work with multi-channel audio.

Press [SFC/EQ] several times to select the desired setting.
