(1) Strip the cable jacket, length A.

(2) Slide back the shield braiding. Open the shield braiding and twist it to form a shield connection wire.

(3) Shorten the twisted shield connection wire to length B and insu- late the shield braiding with heat shrink tube.

Crimp the crimp contacts to the two stripped conductors. The strip- ping length is C. See chapter "6.1 DC bus accessories", page 55 for information on the crimping tool.

(4) Crimp a fork-type cable lug to the shield connection wire. Push the crimp contacts into the connector housing. Polarity: the red wire is PA/+, the black wire is PC/-.

(5) Secure the shield with heat shrink tube.
