Before you use the cooktop for the first time, take a few moments to familiarize yourself with the burners and the knob used to turn on each burner.

BURNER IGNITION

COOKTOP SPARK IGNITION - When you turn the cooktop knob to LITE, the spark Igniter makes a series of electric sparks (ticking sound)whlchllghtsthe burner. During a power failure the burners will not light automatically. In an emergency, a cooktop burner may be lit with a match by following the steps below. The oven cannot be used during a power failure.
