2.Bolt the upper mount plate and the short stand support to each end assembly using the 5⁄16'' - 18 x 3⁄4'' carriage bolts provided. Figure 2.
4.With an assistant, set the lathe bed assem- bly on the stand, orienting the front of the headstock with the switch opening in the stand leg. Bolt the lathe bed to the stand using the eight 5⁄16'' - 18 x 11⁄4'' Cap Screws and Hex Nuts supplied and tighten down. Figure 4.

3.Attach the long stand supports to each end assembly using the 5⁄16'' - 18 x 3⁄4'' carriage bolts provided. Figure 3.

5.At this point tighten down all the bolts on the stand. It is a good idea to do this with the lathe set in place where it will be used.
