AJUSTANDO PARA ÂNGULOS

DE CORTE DE 90º (FIG. 8, 13, 14)

1.Volte o ângulo do chanfro da serra para 0º.

2.Afrouxe a botão de ajuste da chanfradura (C, Fig. 8). Coloque um esquadro (M) contra a lâmina e a sapata.

3.Ajuste da chave de aperto (o) até que o indicador (L) se alinhar ao 0º, depois ajuste a porca (P).

4.Ajuste novamente a chave de ajuste de ângulo.

Lâminas

Uma lâmina cega causará corte ineficiente, sobrecarga do motor da serra, excesso de rebarba e aumento da possibilidade de solavanco.

Substitua as lâminas quando não estiver mais fácil de empurrar a serra através do corte, quando o motor estiver forçando ou quando houver superaquecimento da lâmina. É bom praticar manter lâminas sobressalentes à mão de forma que sempre hajam lâminas disponíveis para uso imediato. Lâminas cegas podem ser afiadas em sua maioria; veja SERRAS-AFIAÇÃO nas páginas amarelas.

Seiva solidificada na lâmina pode ser removida com querosene, aguarrás ou limpador de forno. Lâminas anti-aderentes podem ser usadas em situações onde se encontre excesso de acúmulo, tais como madeiras tratadas e madeiras verdes.
