ASSEMBLY

ATTACHING CIRCLE CUTTER

See Figure 4.

nRemove Battery Pack From speed saw.

nAssemble circle cutter if necessary. Refer to “Assembling Circle Cutter.”

nRemove bit if necessary. Refer to “Inserting/Removing Bits” in this manual.

nPlace adaptor under depth adjustment ring. NOTE: Make sure the adaptor fits snugly.

nPlace circle cutter arm on top of depth adjustment ring.

nScrew threaded ring onto adaptor, securing circle cutter arm.

nInsert bit. Refer to “Inserting/Removing Bits” in this manual.

OPERATION

WARNING:

Do not use any attachments or accessories not recom- mended by the manufacturer of this tool. The use of at- tachments or accessories not recommended can result in serious personal injury.

APPLICATIONS

You may use this tool for the following purposes:

NOTE: Most of these applications require different types of bits. Be sure to use the right bit for your tool.

nCutting electrical outlet openings in drywall or wood pan- eling. It is recommended to use a 1/8 in. bit for cutting wood paneling.

nCreating decorative wood accents

nCutting tile

CAUTION:

To prevent damage to the battery pack, remove the battery pack from the charger immediately if no LED comes on. Return the battery pack and charger to your nearest service center for checking or replacing. Also, if you are removing the battery pack from the charger and no LEDs are on, return both the battery pack and the charger to your nearest service center. Do not insert another battery pack into the charger. A damaged charger may damage a battery pack.
