KNOW YOUR Router

The safe use of this product requires an understanding of the information on the tool and in this operator’s manual as well as a knowledge of the project you are attempting. Before use of this product, familiarize yourself with all operating features and safety rules.

CHIP SHIELD

A clear plastic chip shield is installed on the front of the router for protection against flying dust and chips. The shield is designed to fit the opening of the router base.

depth ADJUSTMENT KNOB

The depth adjustment knob measures changes of depth in increments of 1/128 in. The zero reset feature allows for accurate depth of cut adjustments.

ERGONOMIC DESIGN

The design of this tool provides easy handling when operat- ing in different positions and at different angles.

LED WORKLIGHTS

The LED worklights, located on the bottom of the router mo- tor, illuminate when the ON/OFF switch is on. This provides extra light for increased visibility.

QUICK RELEASE BUTTON

Quick depth adjustments can be made using the quick release button.

SPINDLE LOCK

A spindle lock secures the spindle so that only one wrench is needed to loosen the collet nut and change cutters.

ASSEMBLY

UNPACKING

This product has been shipped completely assembled.

nCarefully remove the tool and any accessories from the box. Make sure that all items listed in the packing list are included.

nInspect the tool carefully to make sure no breakage or damage occurred during shipping.

nDo not discard the packing material until you have care- fully inspected and satisfactorily operated the tool.
